AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS ANNOUNCEMENT -- 2009-045
UP 43, SP 4902 and UP 4427 Rate Increase Effective October 1, 2009

Effective October 1, 2009, Union Pacific will implement the following increases:

UP 43 (animal proteins) will take a 4% increase

SP 4902 (lawn and grass seed) will take a 4% increase

UP 4427 (molasses) will take a 3.5% increase
