Service Change: Marion, AR to Salt Lake City, UT & Denver, CO to Oakland, CA
Intermodal Bulletin 2009 -- 188
Effective Date: June 15, 2009


Effective Monday, June 15, 2009, UPRR will modify days of service for traffic moving from Marion, AR to Salt Lake City, UT. Destination availability for freight moving from Marion, AR to Portland (Albina), OR will be improved by one full day for Saturday departures. We will also be adding a day of service from Denver, CO to Oakland, CA (add Tue). In addition, interchange traffic received via the Memphis gateway for destinations of Seattle, WA, Portland OR and Oakland, CA will modified to reflect 6 day of week service versus the current 7 days (Monday interchange will be discontinued). Interchange days at Memphis, TN for traffic destined to Salt Lake City, UT will change from the current 7 days per week to 4 days per week, i.e.: Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday. Each of these changes will better align service with demand.
