Dear Valued Rock Customers,

Due to seasonally-reduced activity levels, Union Pacific will temporarily make Sundays a demurrage free day, effective November 5, 2009 through March 31, 2010. This policy will apply to unit train aggregate shipments (STCC'S: 14-4, 14-1,14-2) rating via tariff UPRR 14. With this change, if a unit train arrives at destination after 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, it would not have to be unloaded until Tuesday at 7:59 a.m. If a train is spotted before 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, normal UPRR 14 demurrage policy takes precedent and the train is still required to be unloaded by 7:59 a.m. Sunday.
